willow river flowage, wisconsin
for the first camping trip of the summer we decided to head out the the willow flowage in north central Wisconsin. after a cuban-esque hour long boat ride we arrived at our site.
a really secluded site...

...and all the comforts of home.
even though it was cloudy we ran to the boat to go for a boat ride
to look for a geocache in the woods...
...to check out the dam...
...and the view of the river
which blinkin thought was pretty exciting
mmmmmm... takeout
we started to run out of beer, so we decided to head back
which didn't go so well
and the only guy wearing a rowing shirt didn't even row
i was starting to get a little cold by this time
good thing i found a lot of wood for a fire
everyone helped out to get some firewood
even this guy... its about time
yea i'm talking about you
we finished gathering wood just in time for the rain to pick up
no one was really excited about that
so we decided to hit the road and head back to civilization
